The Community Cancer Center is now in a new, state- of -the -art facility. We, here at the CCC, have been providing radiation oncology services to the community for over 25 years and now after much planning, fundraising and with the dedication of many, we are ready to bear the fruit of our labors. Those things which have made our center so successful for all these years have not changed, but our location, equipment and building have changed. The Center, which is owned by the community, is now located on Mercy’s campus. This benefits our patients tremendously by providing them with two new and very important benefits: 1) easy access between the Community Cancer Center and the hospital and 2) it houses both radiation oncology and medical oncology within one building. Our goal, by offering a “comprehensive” cancer center on the hospital campus, is to provide patients with not only the best care, but also the most convenient.
So, where are we now in this huge project that we have under taken? Well, we are now moved in. We have a new Elekta Synergy, Radiation Therapy Treatment machine (and the Therapists are excited). We have moved our Impac system to the new MOSAIC platform and we are now on a fully electronic filing system.
How are we paying for all of this? Well, our capital campaign has been a huge success thus far. If you would like to be a part of this endeavor you can call (541) 673-2267 or send your contributions to:

It is for you, our patients and our community that we have dedicated ourselves to providing you with not only the highest standard of care, but also the most accessible. More importantly it is because of you, your support and the hard work of many that Roseburg will be a leading image in cancer care. Our many thanks to you all, our community, our friends!
